Three Ways to Build Better Money Conversations
From a first gentle session to a structured multi-week programme โ choose the level of depth that suits you both right now.
Back to HomeHOW WE WORK
The Two Ledgers Methodology
Every Florinora programme is built around the same underlying principle: before couples can plan together, they need to be able to talk together. We call this the Two Ledgers approach โ looking at each partner's individual relationship to money, and at the shared view they're building together.
Sessions move at a pace that works for both people. We don't push or pressure. Our facilitators guide conversations with structure, but there's always room for the specific situation a couple brings to the table.
All three programmes share this methodology at their core โ the difference is depth, duration, and the tools included.

PROGRAMME 01
Couples Money-Talk Session
A relaxed, two-hour facilitated session that gives both partners plain-language ways to discuss money, set shared goals, and plan together kindly. Ideal for couples who want a low-pressure starting point โ a single, structured conversation with someone to guide it.
The session uses the Two Ledgers Framework and includes a conversation prompt set and a shared-goals worksheet to walk away with something concrete.
- Conversation prompts and templates included
- Shared-goals worksheet walkthrough
- Available in-person (Alor Setar) or online
- Both partners participate equally
How the session runs:
Brief individual check-in โ each partner shares their current relationship to money (15 min)
Facilitated joint conversation using guided prompts (60 min)
Shared-goals worksheet โ both partners fill in and compare (30 min)
Debrief and takeaway actions agreed between the couple (15 min)
PROGRAMME 02
Couples Toolkit & Community
A self-paced bundle of practical tools โ shared planners, a joint-budget spreadsheet, and community access for everyday questions about managing money as a pair. Built for couples who want a resource they can return to again and again, not just a one-off session.
The community gives you a space to ask questions alongside other Malaysian couples navigating similar planning conversations.
- Ready-to-use joint budget spreadsheet (editable)
- Monthly planning templates for couples
- Conversation prompt card set (digital)
- Community forum access with facilitated Q&A threads
- Plain-language money glossary reference guide
PROGRAMME 03
Partners Planning Programme
A multi-session general-education programme covering how to communicate about money and plan shared goals together โ with group discussions alongside other couples, structured session content, and a certificate of attendance at the end.
This is our most structured offering. It's suited to couples who want to go beyond a single conversation and build a durable approach to shared financial planning โ at their own level, without financial advice.
- Multiple live group sessions (schedule shared on enrolment)
- Certificate of attendance on completion
- Shared-goals workbook and all session resources
- Group discussion with other couples in a facilitated setting
- Available in-person or online
