These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Florinora's educational programmes, digital resources, and community spaces. By accessing or participating in any of our offerings, you agree to the terms set out below. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Definitions
Throughout this document, the following terms carry specific meanings:
- "Florinora" / "We" / "Us" / "Our" — refers to Florinora, a financial education provider registered and operating in Malaysia, with its principal place of business at No. 6, Jalan Kota, 05000 Alor Setar, Kedah.
- "You" / "User" / "Participant" — refers to any individual who accesses, registers for, or participates in any of Florinora's programmes, resources, or community spaces.
- "Services" — refers collectively to the educational sessions, toolkits, community access, and programmes offered by Florinora, as described on our website.
- "Content" — refers to all materials, text, worksheets, templates, discussion prompts, recordings, and resources produced or curated by Florinora.
- "Agreement" — refers to these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
- "Website" — refers to the Florinora website accessible at https://florinora.club.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for, paying for, or participating in any Florinora Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- If you are registering on behalf of another person or a couple, you represent that you have their authority to do so and that they also agree to these terms.
- If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, we respectfully ask that you do not use our Services.
3. Service Description
Florinora offers general financial communication education programmes designed to help couples and partners discuss money matters in a kind, structured, and practical way. Our current offerings include:
- Couples Money-Talk Session — a guided educational session with conversation prompts and templates (RM 480).
- Couples Toolkit & Community — shared planning tools, a joint-budget spreadsheet, and community access (RM 1,480).
- Partners Planning Programme — a multi-session educational programme with group discussion and a certificate of attendance (RM 4,200).
All services are offered as general education and informational tools only. They are not a substitute for licensed financial advice, counselling, legal guidance, or any other regulated professional service. Services are primarily available to residents of Malaysia, though other participants may be accommodated subject to availability.
4. User Accounts
Certain Services may require you to create or be registered under an account with Florinora. Where applicable:
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials associated with your enrolment.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep it current.
- You must not share your access credentials or allow others to use your programme access on your behalf, except where a Service is explicitly designed for couples or paired participants.
- Florinora reserves the right to suspend or close an account if these requirements are not met.
5. User Responsibilities
When using our Services, you agree to conduct yourself respectfully and in accordance with the spirit of collaborative, kind learning. Specifically, you agree:
- To use the materials and community spaces for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.
- Not to share, reproduce, distribute, or resell Florinora's Content without written permission.
- To treat other community members with courtesy and respect, refraining from abusive, discriminatory, or harmful language or behaviour.
- Not to submit false or misleading information through our contact or registration forms.
- Not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website or Services.
- Not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates any applicable Malaysian laws or regulations.
6. Intellectual Property
All Content created and provided by Florinora — including but not limited to worksheets, conversation decks, session materials, templates, and website text — is the intellectual property of Florinora and is protected under applicable Malaysian and international copyright laws.
- You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Content for your own private educational purposes during the active period of your enrolment.
- You may not copy, print for wide distribution, publish, broadcast, modify, or create derivative works from Florinora's Content without prior written consent.
- The Florinora name, logo, and all associated branding elements are the trademarks of Florinora and may not be used without permission.
7. Payment Terms
All fees for Florinora's Services are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are payable in full prior to participation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Payment methods accepted will be communicated at the point of enrolment.
- Fees do not include any applicable taxes; you are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.
- Cancellations made more than 7 calendar days before a scheduled session may be eligible for a refund, less any administrative processing costs. Please contact us to discuss your circumstances.
- Cancellations made 7 days or fewer before the session are generally non-refundable, though we will always try to find a suitable alternative arrangement (such as rescheduling) wherever possible.
- For programme enrolments involving multiple sessions, refund eligibility will be assessed based on the number of sessions already delivered.
- Florinora reserves the right to adjust pricing for future enrolments with reasonable notice.
8. Programme-Specific Terms
The following additional terms apply to specific Florinora offerings:
Couples Money-Talk Session
- Participation by both partners is strongly encouraged but not strictly required for attendance.
- Session materials provided are for personal use only and remain the property of Florinora.
Couples Toolkit & Community
- Community access is subject to community conduct guidelines, which may be updated from time to time.
- Florinora reserves the right to remove any participant from the community for conduct that is disrespectful, disruptive, or contrary to these Terms.
- Digital tools and spreadsheets are provided for personal, household planning use only.
Partners Planning Programme
- A certificate of attendance will be issued upon completion of the required sessions. This certificate attests to attendance at an educational programme only and does not confer any professional qualification or licence.
- Academic integrity is expected throughout; participants must engage honestly in discussions and exercises.
- Missed sessions may not be eligible for individual make-up arrangements without prior agreement.
9. Disclaimers
- Florinora provides general financial communication education and planning tools. We do not provide regulated financial advice, investment recommendations, legal advice, tax guidance, or any other service that requires a professional licence in Malaysia or elsewhere.
- All Content is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We aim for accuracy but do not warrant that all information is complete, current, or error-free.
- Participation in our programmes does not create a financial advisor–client relationship.
- Individual circumstances vary widely; the tools and frameworks we share are general educational frameworks and may not suit every couple's specific situation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law:
- Florinora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use our Services.
- Our total liability for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.
- Florinora is not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on materials or discussions encountered through our Services.
- Force majeure events — including but not limited to natural disasters, government directives, power disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control — may affect service delivery. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Florinora, its facilitators, staff, and representatives from and against any claims, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your misuse of the Services or Content; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.
12. Termination
- You may discontinue use of our Services at any time, subject to the refund and cancellation terms set out in Section 7.
- Florinora reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to any Service, with or without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or act in a manner that is harmful to other participants or the integrity of our programmes.
- Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution will survive any termination of these Terms.
13. Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
- Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
- Before initiating any formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] to seek an informal resolution. We genuinely value every participant's experience and will make every reasonable effort to address concerns directly.
- If informal resolution is not achieved within 30 days of written notice, either party may escalate the matter through formal channels.
14. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Florinora concerning your use of the Services.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
- Waiver: Florinora's failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
- Assignment: You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without Florinora's prior written consent.
- Notices: Notices to you may be sent to the email address you provided at registration. Notices to Florinora should be sent to [email protected].
15. Changes to These Terms
Florinora may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal obligations, or business practices. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where the changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active participants by email. Your continued use of our Services following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
